Abdul Rashid Dostum plans revenge against the Taliban in exile!

The journalist of Rolling Stone magazine, who interviewed Abdul Rashid Dostum, says: “He is no longer the stout warrior that I remember. His movements are slow and his cheeks are pale!”

Dostum told Rolling Stone that at the height of the Taliban’s summer offensive attacks, he was actually poisoned by unknown “enemies” and then flown to Ankara for treatment.

Dostum attributed the fall of the Afghan army to the wrong leadership of President Ashraf Ghani. “Our leadership was in the hands of a person who could not mobilize the people who were against the Taliban,” he said. “I am an army man and I know all parts of Afghanistan. I was able to do this. But instead, Ghani was backbiting me and the Americans did not listen to my words because of him.”

Dostum added: “The Taliban deceived us. They must be dealt with forcefully. We don’t need American tanks or planes. We just need their political support. If I can’t teach the Taliban a lesson, I’m not Dostum!”
