Today (June 12) is the “world day against child labor”. According to statistics, one out of every 10 kids all around the world is suffering from child labor.
Child labor in Afghanistan is also drastic. the growing poverty of Afghanistan has increased the number of child laborers in Afghanistan.
Child labor exacerbates social discrimination and robs boys and girls of their childhood. Child labor limits access to education and harms a child’s physical, mental and social development, especially for girls, making them more vulnerable to poverty and deprivation.
We are tired of slogans, but hoping for a day when we see children all over the world, happy and smiling, while playing or attending schools.
